Our Baby Dino Hatchling is an entirely hand-felted dinosaur emerging from its cracked egg - an original photography prop created by Treasure Island Photo Props for imaginative newborn, sitter and fine art photography.
Designed as a miniature prehistoric story in one piece, the prop combines a sweet baby dinosaur with a sculptural cracked eggshell, creating a charming focal point for DINO-themed photography without overpowering the scene.
Its muted earthy colours and natural wool texture pair beautifully with wood, stone, wool layers and other organic styling elements.
ENTIRELY HAND-FELTED
Both the baby dinosaur and its cracked eggshell are individually shaped by hand from 100% natural wool.
The dinosaur features a softly sculpted body, tiny details and a gentle expression, while the surrounding egg is formed with irregular broken edges and subtle crack details to create the appearance of a tiny creature just beginning to hatch.
No knitting. No sewing. Each piece is created entirely using felting techniques.
Because every Baby Dino Hatchling is handmade individually, small differences in shape, expression, wool texture and eggshell details are part of its unique character.
