Inspired by a freshly cracked egg, this lightweight sculptural prop is individually shaped from styrofoam and finished by hand. Its irregular broken-shell edge and hand-painted crack details create a realistic eggshell effect while giving every piece its own individual character.

Designed in two sizes for newborn and sitter photography, it can become the centerpiece of an Easter setup or be combined with coordinating handmade props from our collection.

Because every eggshell is individually handcrafted, slight variations in shape, surface texture and painted crack placement are natural and make each piece unique.

Main Eggshell or Complete Set

The prop can be ordered in two configurations:

Main Eggshell Bowl Only
Includes the large lower eggshell used as the main photography prop.

Main Eggshell Bowl + Detachable Broken Top
Includes the large eggshell bowl together with the coordinating removable broken shell piece.

The separate top piece gives photographers additional creative possibilities and can be positioned around the main eggshell to build a more elaborate freshly-hatched scene.

The hand-painted crack pattern is individually applied to every piece, so no two eggshells will be exactly identical.
