Rich, romantic and beautifully textured, our Mulberry Round Curly Wool Blanket combines a deep berry-inspired colour with the wonderful organic character of natural sheep wool curls.

The sophisticated Mulberry shade blends muted berry, plum and wine undertones, creating a beautifully dimensional colour that changes subtly depending on the light and surrounding styling.

Its classic round shape makes it an incredibly versatile photography layer - perfect inside baskets, bowls and other posing props, as well as styled on its own as a soft textured foundation for newborn and sitter portraits.

Each blanket is individually hand felted and finished with real natural sheep wool curls, giving every piece its own unique texture and character.

Our Mulberry Round Curly Wool Blanket is handmade to order in two sizes:

Small – approx. 50 cm diameter

(headband with 1 flower)

Large – approx. 60 cm diameter

(headband with 3 flowers)

The coordinating headband creates a beautifully finished, ready-to-style photography set while still allowing you to choose the blanket on its own if you prefer a more versatile prop.

NATURAL SHEEP CURLS

Each blanket is created using real natural sheep wool curls, carefully incorporated into a hand-felted wool base.

Their naturally irregular shape, length and curl pattern create the wonderfully organic surface that makes these blankets so distinctive in photographs.

Because we work with natural wool, no two blankets are completely identical — subtle variations are part of their handmade character.

A RICH MULBERRY COLOUR

Mulberry is a wonderful alternative to traditional pink, purple or burgundy.

Its deep berry-plum character works beautifully in fine art newborn photography, floral setups, vintage-inspired scenes, autumn styling, romantic portraits and darker moody compositions.

Pair it with ivory and cream for a softer look, with dusty pink and mauve for romantic styling, or combine it with brown, olive, gold and other earthy shades for rich seasonal scenes.

Processing time is approximately 2-2.5 weeks + shipping time.

Due to the handmade process and the natural character of sheep wool, slight variations in colour, curl structure, length and placement are completely natural and make every piece unique.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Wash gently in cool or lukewarm water using a wool-safe detergent.

Do not rub, wring or twist and do not tumble dry.

After washing, gently reshape the blanket and leave it to dry flat naturally.
